The UHCW Library & Knowledge Service plays an integral role in improving the quality of care to patients in the Trust, with a clear focus on evidence-based patient care and improving the patient experience.

It provides a multi-professional, evidence-based service which underpins the information requirements of patients and clinical / non-clinical activities in support of clinical governance, evidence-based healthcare, research, undergraduate and postgraduate education and lifelong learning.

The Service aims to provide easy and timely access to information resources and evidence-based knowledge to support world-class, evidence-based patient care.
